Val really made me think about writing this..dunno why, but yeah.
Just one more year, I tell myself. Just one more year.
I always find myself looking far ahead into the future.
What is my house going to be like?
How can I afford it?
How will I make money?
So lets lay out my "dream house plan" for ya.
I want a small house, 3 bed/2 bath, either a modular home or a underground home (I need to hide from these twisters!). I want a walk in shower, and my utility room to have a door, straight outside so I can move out a broken washing machine or whatever LOL
60ish acers, with a pond.
my house far off from the road.
A zipline across the pond :D
Two broodmare pastures, along with several turnouts and large open pastures. A barn with 2 stud stalls, with 5 other stalls, devided by a tack and feed room.
A round pen, size doesn't matter.
An arena, big enough for a barrel pattern.
A 3 car garage with a car lift for the ever deserving boyfriend.
Some random cows and chickens here and there...just because.
A border collie and a "Lassie" collie:)
I feel like I am too young to be thinking about such things, but by taking the challenge of being a lifetime horse owner, I have to think about things for the well being of my horses.
My plan is to go to the agricultural community college about 30 minutes from my house after college. Go for 2 years, then decide what I am doing after that. Hopefully I will have enough money to board all of my horses, so my parent's can get on with their lives and not have to live in this crappy old money-pit of a house anymore. If I'm still with Peyton, which we are both planning on, we will probably get an appartment together for a few years until we are ready to own our own place. Probably look into foreclosed properties first..
blah blah blah and then the rest is what I make of it.
I can't plan to far ahead, or I will have planned out my life, and not been able to live it.
I love it when I start blogging or typing about something, then realise what I was talking about is all stupid. LOL
Also, I'm thinking about leasing out Rosie and maybe Dream when I go off to college. I won't be able to give them the time they deserve, and I still need for them to get riden. The longer Rosie is kept in shape, the better her older years will be...or so my coach has told me. I don't plan on letting her go to another drill family, unless it's for a junior team where they will only be trotting with slight loping. Dream has a lot of potential in pretty much any feild, and I would be willing to let somebody ride her and train her for themselves (iiiiif they know what they are doing). She has shown a lot of promise as an English horse, but also as a playday/speedevent mare.
Of course, my parent's will kill me if I found a way to keep Rebel...sadly.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAND I forgot what I was going to say. UGH.
*Side note* I like how I STILL have not totally figured out what I am going to do as a "profession". I was thinking becoming a farrier, but I am kind back on forth on that. I want something that I can be around horses, use my creativity, use my smarts (yes, even though I try not to believe it, I am a SMART blonde!) and be able to make a good income. We'll see what happens.
Maybe a equine chiropracter?
Deffinately going to have training as something to do. You won't be able to keep me off a horses back unless I am pregnant! LOL!
Update on my dad. Him and my mom are talking, but it's still "my fault" that he has abandoned phones and the internet forver. Yeah, good luck with that.
